The Villa Gems

The Villa GEMS is a unique family-owned country villa in Roussospiti, a quiet and beautiful village which is a picturesque 10-minute drive from the town of Rethymno, on the island of Crete. The Villa GEMS holds 14 guests and is ideal for large groups of families, friends, couples, and exercise groups (yoga, meditation, pilates and so on). The villa has fantastic views of the sea and surrounding mountains. It is a great choice for groups who want separate seating areas aswell. Everyone will have their own personal space. When you arrive, there will be a welcome package waiting for you!

Your home Villa Gems is lovely beyond words but the most wonderful part of our Cretan adventure has got to be your unconditional generosity and hospitality. That alone had made our trip worthwhile.

We had taken your suggestions to heart and had visited some mini off-the-track gems such as the Milli Gorge and the Nunnery which are just around the corner from this place. And best of all, Taverna Mylonas, the best beef soup ever!

We had a wonderful time in your beautiful, spacious, fresh and very special house! All of us, adults and children have enjoyed it very much. So much that we did not want to leave the house…
The location is perfect, close to Rethymno but you have the impression of being in the countryside. Just perfect!
